Be part of the IYCE experience
The International Youth Conference on Energy (IYCE) had four successful previous editions in 2007 and 2009 in Budapest, Hungary, 2011 in Leiria, Portugal and 2013 in Siófok, Hungary, organized by the Student Association of Energy (SAE), providing a good opportunity for young experts working in different fields of energy and power engineering to present their work in an international forum and make contacts for their future. The fifth edition of this conference will take place in Pisa, Italy, in Northern Tuscany, on the right bank of the mouth of the River Arno and close to the cost of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The event will be hosted in the Congress Centre of the CNR Research Area of Pisa.
The first and main concern of the organization is that the conference may be held in an informal and smooth way, with plenary sessions as well as oral and poster sessions, to offer a wide platform for discussions and experience exchange.
The meeting is especially aimed to give the opportunity for making new friendships in a very pleasant atmosphere. Therefore, apart from the technical sessions, the social programmes will allow the desired informal contacts and will also give a touristic overview of the country. The seaside proximity, in the early summertime, is an added bonus to this location.
