4th International Youth Conference on Energy 2013
Conference: 6th to 8th June, 2013
You can find more information about the program here!
The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society and Power Energy Society, final papers will be available on IEEE Xplore.
The International Youth Conference on Energy (IYCE) had three successful previous editions in 2007 and 2009 in Hungary and 2011 in Leiria, Portugal, organized by the Student Association of Energy (SAE), providing a good opportunity for young experts working in different fields of energy- and power engineering to present their work in an international forum and make contacts for their future. The fourth edition of this conference will take place in Siófok, Hungary, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe.
The conference will include plenary sessions, oral and poster sessions with the main goal to offer the participants a wide platform for discussions and experience exchange in an informal and smooth atmosphere. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society, final papers will be available on IEEE Xplore.
The meeting is also aimed to give the opportunity for making new friendships in a pleasant environment. Therefore apart from the technical sessions, the social programs will allow the desired informal interaction between the participants and also give a touristic overview of Hungary in particular the historical sights and the wine regions of Balaton. The lakeside proximity in the summertime is an added bonus to this location and will be well exploited.
We expect this event in Siófok to be a meeting point for the youth related to energy from Europe and worldwide in 2013.
